Hutt Valley DHB has been given notice of strike action from MERAS, the midwives’ union, as negotiations continue between MERAS and the DHBs.
The strike notices indicate a series of two two-hour strikes each day from 22 November to 8 December.
As always, our priority is the safety of women and their babies, and we have started planning for this action.
