Hutt Valley DHB proposed to implement a contracting policy for pharmacist services.
The aim is to be more planned and thoughtful about the supply and location of pharmacies and pharmacist services in its region, and to ensure those providers that we contract will be able to provide a high quality service to patients.
It invited consultation on a draft policy, which was completed on October 4.
The feedback is now being considered by the board as part of a revised contracting policy.

Once the board has considered and made decisions on the contracting policy, stakeholders will be advised and the final document will be posted on this website.
