There are all sorts of ways you can do this apart from on the floor – we’re in clinics, we’re out in the community, and there are senior roles you could aim for.
And then there’s the lifestyle. You can live minutes away from your work so you don’t waste time commuting. The Hutt Valley has everything you need, with shops, restaurants and cafes, but if you crave the city, Wellington is only 20 minutes down the road. It’s a region where you can go surfing, you can go hiking, you can spend weekends up a mountain, you can have a garden.
