The District Health Board and Ministry of Health have two Pacific Oral Health Scholarships for students of Pacific origin undertaking a Bachelor of Oral Health, Dental Therapy, with the University of Otago. They are a great way of funding your study and include mentoring and career support.
It is expected that on successful completion of study, recipients as new graduates will work with one of the Wairarapa, Hutt Valley or Capital & Coast DHB’s Community Oral Health services for two years*.
