In June 2013 the Minister of Health notified all District Health Boards that it was mandatory for all District Health Boards to produce a set of Quality Accounts before 31 December 2013 for the 2011/12 financial year.
The accounts are to represent ‘whole of systems’ approach to reflect health care provision across each DHB. In other words each health district has to produce an account of quality initiatives for the last financial year.
