What to expect when you arrive

When you first arrive on the Hutt Hospital campus you will be need to take a ticket from the machine on entry to the site (keep this ticket with you when you leave your car)

  • Finding a parking space: Green areas on the map are for visitors' and patients' parking (click map for a larger image) 
  • The parking building just inside the new entrance to the hospital campus, off High Street, is often the most convenient place to park for the Emergency Department and the main entrance to the hospital
  • The Inquries Office is located on the ground floor on the right of the main entrance to the hospital in the Heretaunga Block.

Opening hours for Inquiries are as follows:

8.00am - 8.00pm - Monday to Friday

8.30am - 8.00pm - Weekends & Statutory Holidays

We are here to help with any queries you may have regarding:

  • Location of patients
  • Patient conditions
  • Directions to other departments 

 Hospital Visiting Hours are:

General Visiting Hours

2.30pm - 8.00pm

All visitors are asked to leave promptly at 8.00 pm to allow patients to rest and so the hospital to be secured for the for the evening.

Rest Periods         

12.30pm - 2.30pm
